In January 2022, a group of JBES students began their journey in an after school club as they unearthed the rich history of their school and the surrounding community. With new members in their club, they continued their work during the 2022-2023 school year.
JBES teacher and alum, Mr. Boyd, led the students on their research quest as they interviewed long-time area residents, explored their neighborhood, researched historical photographs and documents, and much more. Check out this video to see the students participating in the program!
