We envision bringing our project and the resulting permanent, museum-quality exhibit to every school in the District interested in understanding, creating, and sharing their school story. Our vision includes ensuring that local leaders underrepresented in other museum venues are recognized and highlighted in schools throughout the District, codifying a positive legacy for future generations. We also envision continuing to innovate in response to community needs and interest by finding new avenues for making community stories visible and museum experiences accessible and relevant to DC residents.
